Deer Creek Station

I thought you history buffs might like a history lesson this time. I could tell you the story but I am going to post a pic of the historical marker instead.

Flowers for you

I was going to end here with more pictures of cheese, but I think I will send you some flowers instead:)

Tamarind!

I used to sell tamarind soda in my candy shop. We never could find out what it was, or what lt looked like. Then here it is right here in Wyoming! Maybe I'll find a use for it.

Outside the workforce building

I can only imagine what it would look like in the other seasons.

The ceiling

Of the workforce building lobby. I think it's supposed to be a skylight. On this day it could have been covered by snow.

The workforce building

Well the lobby. I love lobby gardens. This one would be cooler with some flowers.

Overlooking Casper

This is an over look of Casper. Well a tiny part of it. It's really spread out since the last time I was really here, but that's been more than twenty years.

Winter flowers

There was snow everywhere yesterday. Now look, flowers! No not really, they aren't real. Still, the color is nice to see when everything else is dead.

2 Cups!

I measured it this time! This is a hot chocolate mug! Even as sad as I am right now, even I can still appreciate the stomach ache i will have when I am done consuming the contents of this bad boy. Bottoms Up!

Let's start the day

With pictures of cheese. Gourmet cheese! Unusual cheese. Wonderful cheese. Wallace's favorite food. Cheese. Can you tell that I like cheese?

One of my favorite things

I guess I'll leave you tonight with a picture of one of my favorite things, and that you're sure to see often here. Gumball machines! These were outside of the dollar store.

Look I caught the sun!

These mobiles are outside the chamber building in Casper, Wyoming. The sun just happened to be in the right place at the right time, or I was. I thought it was a good shot at any rate.

I didn't go out today

I wasn't feeling well, so I pretty much slept and finished setting up the base of my system. Since I didn't go out enjoy these images of the largest single store i've ever been in. It's a Walmart in Casper, Wyoming.

I think ...

I think it's called "Super Food" they have amazing variety for such a small store. I love this store.

Here's something you don't find every day

I think I have the recipe for this. I haven't had it in years, and I haven't ever seen it in stores, until now.

They even have the "pole"

I can't believe how few of these there are left. I think they add something to a town. Especially out here in the boonies.

A real life...

Barber shop! I haven't seen one of these since I was a little kid. I was told that this one is only closed for today but the sign looks like it's been there for awhile. I hope it will be open again soon. I need a haircut.

I have no idea

I have no idea what this is. It lives outside of building in Glenrock. I guess it's a main street but there haven't been an awful lot of traffic.

The Knotty Pine Saloon

I guess multiple images don't always work.

The Knotty Pine Saloon

I love this building.

The Knotty Pine Saloon

Let's try this again

I don't have all the bugs out yet. My last 2 posts didn't. So now it's really late. Here is another attempt to show you that I am alive and well in the Wild West. Here is an iconic saloon.

Food Glorious Food

One of the things that I do like about Walmart is the various types of food on the stands. They even have a ton of beautiful baked goods!

Pretty Flowers

They had some pretty flowers for sale at Walmart. I know they aren't as fresh as those from a florist, but these were still pretty.
